Disney partners with Short Story to create gift collection inspired by princesses

It's a sign that dreams really do come true, Short Story will collaborate with The Walt Disney Company to launch a limited-edition collection of jewellery, gifts and homewares from October 2019. The unique range features jewellery, gifts and homewares inspired by beloved princesses including Cinderella, The Little Mermaid’s Ariel and Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

A timeless Disney collection

Drawing on our experience creating unique gifts infused with storytelling, the collection is designed to be a subtle nod to Disney’s most-loved characters. Designed for now grown-up lovers of Disney, each piece captures the nostalgia of these classic films and the worlds that were created around them.

For our co-founders Carolyn Wong & William Du, the collaboration really is a dream come true.

For us, it’s an incredibly meaningful collaboration as both companies are inspired by nostalgia, connection and heartfelt storytelling.” With this first collection, we wanted to capture the strength and individuality of each princess.

The collection is intended to bring that inspiration into every day with stunning homewares and unique jewellery that adds a little magic. Be it a beautiful origami wall art to inspire someone to find their own voice, a fragrant candle in honour of a princess, or a simple charming piece of jewellery to remind us all to be authentic to who we are.

Short Story is a Melbourne-based gift brand that creates gifts infused with storytelling. The Princess Collection is the first in a three-year partnership with Disney.
